The One and Two Tray EconoSystem are sturdy, quality-built
Ebb Flow-type hydroponic systems designed for the grower
on a budget. Built around our popular 3'x3' ABS tray,
the EconoSystem includes "just the basics." Many growers
told us they wanted us to make a system that included
just the hardware so they could customize the rest to
their liking. With plenty of space to grow with, this
system is ideal for virtually any type of plants, veggies
or flowers. And with the Two-Tray EconoSystem, your
available growing space doubles to 2,592 square inches.
What
is Stress Engineering?
The Econo Tray 3'x3' tray is constructed of vacuum-formed,
strong and durable ABS plastic. Its gutter pattern was
specially designed to support the weight of all your
plants and a full tank of water/nutrients while resisting
sagging in the middle. Most plastic trays will sag in
the middle due to the weight, which leads to cracks
and leaks, especially around the fittings. The unique
design was also engineered to allow quick and complete
drainage, with no standing water.
What
do I need to make this fully operational?
The EconoSystem includes our .125" thick growing tray,
sturdy galvanized steel table frame with injection molded
plastic corners, reliable submersible pump and the Amhydro
Fill/Drain & Overflow fitting kit, including vinyl fill/drain
tubing. The 30 gallon black ABS reservoir is optional.
This system was designed to be flexible in its placement
and configuration. You can also add a Gro-Well for 36
evenly spaced growing sites. To make this fully operational,
you need to add pots, some type of growing medium (gro-rocks,
expanded clay, etc.), hydroponic nutrients, seeds, water
and sufficient light.
